CAPCOM Licenses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for “ASURA’S WRATH”- September 21, 2010

Japan-based CAPCOM Co., Ltd. has entered into an agreement to license Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for its upcoming action game “ASURA’S WRATH,” developed by CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd. for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3. The game was announced at CAPCOM’s Tokyo Game Show press conference last week. This is the third licensing agreement between CAPCOM and Epic, representing CAPCOM’s commitment to providing its customers with an unparalleled gaming experience. Epic Games Brings Unreal Engine 3 to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch - September 1, 2010

Epic Games, Inc. today announced its “Epic Citadel” App is now available from the App Store. The app showcases the technical capabilities of Epic’s award-winning Unreal Engine 3 on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In “Epic Citadel,” players navigate a fictional castle realm using simple controls and the innovative Multi-Touch user interface. “Epic Citadel” also features stunning visuals and special effects, with an environment inspired by “Project Sword,” Epic’s newest game. Scaleform GFx Bundled with Unreal Engine - April 15, 2010

Epic Games, Inc., developers of the industry-leading Unreal Engine, and Scaleform® Corporation (Scaleform), the leading provider of Flash®-based middleware and user interface (UI) solutions for the video game and consumer electronic industries, today announced that Scaleform GFx will be bundled free of any additional charges with all current and future versions of Unreal Engine 3. In addition, Epic Games will use Scaleform’s technology to speed the design of innovative UIs for its own highly anticipated titles, including Gears of War 3. Epic Games, Inc. Opens New Subsidiary in Japan - April 13, 2010

Epic Games, Inc. today announced the company will officially open its new office in Japan at a launch event set for April 15, 2010. The celebration, to be held in Tokyo at Akiba Hall, marks the expansion of Epic Games to include primary operations in Cary, North Carolina; Provo, Utah; Warsaw, Poland; Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China and Tokyo, Japan.
